Electronic communication- tax office

Electronic delivery from the financial administration for the taxpayer is not carried out through the financial administration portal, which taxpayers use to electronically send documents to the tax office.

To receive correspondence from the tax administrator, taxpayers need to activate their electronic mailbox on the central public administration portal ("ÚPVS") on the website www.slovensko.sk. Alternatively, documents can be delivered to the electronic mailbox of the authorized representative of the taxpayer.

The paper version of the document can only be delivered in specific cases.

A document sent in the "hand-held" mode is considered delivered:

either at the moment when the addressee confirms the delivery notification (the so-called electronic delivery note),

or by applying the fiction of delivery, i.e. j. if the 15-day storage period expires and the addressee does not confirm the delivery notification within this period.

Correspondence that is not addressed in the mode "to your own hands" will be considered delivered the day after the document is saved in the electronic mailbox. However, ordinary delivery is used only exceptionally in tax administration.

By launching the "ePayment" functionality from March 1, 2023, the Financial Administration enables applicants to pay for charged electronic services with a payment card directly from their electronic account on the Central Public Administration Portal (hereinafter referred to as ÚPVS). Payment by card is the fastest and most efficient way to pay the administrative fee, therefore the financial administration makes this option available for its services through "General submission" at the ÚPVS and on the "General submission for financial administration" forms on the Financial Administration Portal (hereinafter referred to as PFS).

The basic necessary condition for the electronic submission of a request (submission) for a fee-based service provided by the financial administration is the existence of the applicant's mailbox at the ÚPVS www.slovensko.sk

You can view payment orders from submitted requests for the issuance of a confirmation and other charges via www.slovensko.sk - by logging in to the financial report with your ID card and downloading the payment order
